Project Meetings

There will be several opportunities for the public to help provide insight in the master plan process. They will include public meetings at key milestones in the planning process and a series of Committee meetings.

How do I get involved?

Public Information Meetings

Two public meetings will be held during the project - the first will be an overview of the project and to gather information from the community about airport needs. The second meeting will be held to review the findings and offer an opportunity for the community to weigh in on results and initial plans. The input received during the process will guide the Authority and its consulting team in developing specific Master Plan recommendations. Each open house is intended to make it easy for the public to learn more, provide input and ask questions.

Public Meeting #2 - September 12, 2019
Mark your calendar to attend a Public Information Session.
Please join us to learn about and provide feedback on proposed updates to Norfolk International Airport. During the information session, you will have an opportunity to review airport development concepts, including potential improvements to the airfield, passenger terminal, parking, air cargo and general aviation facilities. Comments to the information presented are due by October 15, 2019. This Master Plan will be used to support growth and guide development to meet existing and future needs of Airport users.
